In Project Wendy each team is assigned with the brief of having to build a wendy house. It is a team competition and the stakes are high.

Project Wendy is a practical way to really get people’s ideas and viewpoints on your current mission or vision and then define and agree on the values and behaviours that are needed to achieve your strategic intent.

Your team will experience what it is like to plan, build and deliver a high quality Wendy House to an organisation in need. You can build one or 20 at a time.

Instead of being spoilt at a conference venue and spending money on the bar bill, many of our clients approach us to apply their budget in a way that really makes a difference to the community.

In the past few years of running this service we have, with the help of our clients, changed the lives of school children, entrepreneurs, clinic teams, drug rehab centre administrators and orphanages.

The various Wendy's have been donated to a range of charities and communities. The reality is that we could run this product full time and still not serve the need that exists. Your team will change in terms of their awareness, understanding of and attitude towards each other, their families, the community and their country.

Your people will have the support of a competent technical team to help them build safe, high quality units that will last long after the event.

For the people who have ten thumbs, they will walk away having the confidence and pride in creating something together with their colleagues that is meaningful and makes an impact on other people's lives.

The teams are tasked with painting the company's logo and slogan on the Wendy House.

The process is run as follows:

Pre-Production and Planning:

  • Introductory video and brief on the charity/community/group being helped
  • Division of your group into construction teams
  • Allocation of roles and zones (Panels, Roof, Floor... Construction Foreman, Builder, Painter, Carpenter etc.)
  • Safety Brief
  • Quality Brief
  • Technical tools orientation
  • Materials selection
  • Process planning

Construction process:

  • Phased assembly by zone
  • Painting/Sealing and securing of phases
  • Branding and artwork
  • Team decoration and furnishing

Post Production:

  • Team effectiveness review
  • Learning and improvements
  • Final inspection and handover of Wendy's
  • Awards and Prizes
  • Delivery of Wendy's (done by our team, filmed for your records and dissemination)

  • "Behind the Scenes" movie where we film the teams in action
  • Additional DVD edited copies of the "Behind the Scenes" movie @ R100.00 each excl. VAT.  (To be delivered 14 days after the intervention)
  • Flights and car rental if required
  • Travel costs for our Operations Team @ R5.00 / km
