Throughout the world, the media industry is intriguing. With cut-throat journalism, breaking news and reporting on events as they unfold, much time has been dedicated to emulating this astounding industry. Documentaries, reality TV, news flashes and breaking news bulletins have become an integral part of our daily lives.
Elephants in Main Street’s latest teambuilding intervention is News Room.
In News Room, your staff will strategise how to put together their very own live TV news broadcast. The various roles of anchor, roaming reporter, camera man, journalist, make-up and wardrobe etc. will be assigned. The delegates will interview each other, collect the relevant data, write the press releases and take the photo’s themselves. All the content covered in the broadcast will relate directly to your organisation and it’s mission statement and goals.
From the lighting, to the plasma screens, to the studio lay-out and wardrobe of the anchors, the build up before going live is nail-biting. The jingle starts playing as everyone assumes their positions. As the countdown ends and the presenters go live on air, they appear to be calmly poised. Behind the scenes the cameramen, studio crew, reporters, anchor hosts and supporting staff all have an integral role to play in making a success of the broadcast…….
This is a practical hands-on process that involves everyone regardless of age, status, gender or qualification.
Make this event even more real by having an actual celebrity News Anchor host your news bulletin!
“Overcome the traditional death by powerpoint conference fatigue and re-engergise your people.”
Use News Room to not only revolutionise the presentation of your conference, but also the entire conference event itself.
Added value - A great advantage of this project is the tangible, visible and valuable product at the end (the news broadcast itself). You take it home with you as a reminder of what has been achieved, and which can be of use to the organisation in many ways. |
