Brief
Facilitators brief the delegates.
Purpose
To unleash the creativity in all your team members and get them to conceive and produce a wonderful portfolio of shots which fully express the purpose and theme of the shoot.
The Task
Conceive, plan, shoot and develop a series of black-and-white photographs which stunningly portray the theme you have been given.
Policy
The team will choose a leader who will assign the following hats necessary for the project. In this team build one will be allocated two hats.

Art Director
The 'Art Director' is similar to the Managing Director or CEO. He or she liaises with the facilitators and runs the 'business' aspects of the shoot - organisation, time-keeping, budgets, personnel, making sure that the objective is achieved within the time allotted. The AD is also responsible for ensuring that the team comes up with a 'concept', which is the subject/message of the shoot in broad terms, and how it is going to be portrayed.

Creative Director
The principal creative artist on the shoot. The Director is the driving artistic source behind the shoot, and communicates to photographer, graffiti artist, developer etc., how he or she would like the shots produced.

Photographer
The Photographer is responsible for the process of recording a scene in the manner desired by the director. He or she has a number of duties: shot composition (in consultation with the directors), selecting lighting, etc.

Dark Room Manager
Is in charge of the Dark Room, especially all the vital light control aspects. Also responsible for the process and procedures in the Dark Room.

The Developer
The Developer is responsible for the actual production of the prints, under the guidance of the director, photographer and Dark Room manager.

Runner
This is the person responsible for ensuring that finished rolls of film get dropped at the specified location.

Location Scout
The Location Scout looks for suitable locations for photographing and manages various aspects of photographing on location, such as arranging with authorities for permission to shoot in specific places.

Graffiti Artist
The Graffiti Artist is the stylist of the shoot, is responsible for setting up the shots for the photographer, and obtaining the necessary props.
