Pressure Cooker is a fun experience using the teams collective culinary skills and a lot of creativity. The team gets to relax, unwind and use their ingenuity both in cooking their own meals and producing a “Ready Steady Cook” type cooking show!

Each team will be supplied with a mystery basket of ingredients. They need to compose a three course menu based on the ingredients supplied. The real test comes in the actual execution of preparing the various dishes, as well as plating and garnishing each course. Each course will be judged on the flavour, aroma and presentation of the meal.

The delegates’ creativity is encouraged by each team creating a logo which they paint onto the tablecloth, aprons and hats. The entire cooking process is then captured on video.

Delegates are interviewed and a real live cooking show unfolds as the delegates go through the process of preparing a three course meal. After the judging teams are given the opportunity to taste their meals and watch their own cooking shows. Awards are then presented for Best Chef, Best Meal, Best Presentation, Best Cameraman ect, which serves as a memento of an unforgettable cooking experience.
